Twin City Foods in Pasco Washington turned to TNW, Tnemec to help specify the correct floor coatings for their fresh pack expansion in 2017.  The system needed to handle constant forklift traffic, but also be durable enough to handle multiple daily caustic wash-downs.

Rick Gilbreath, Consultant with TNW states, "fresh pack plants only operate several months a year, but this presents a set of problems that do not exist in plants that operate all year long.  Thermal shock and wet-dry cycles require very specific performance criteria for the coating system".  Tnemec Series 245 was chosen for its superior impact, MVT resistance and thermal shock resistance.

"Today, 5 years later, the flooring system is performing well", states Tom Matheson, owner of Matheson Painting.  "We do a lot of food and beverage floors with Tnemec Ultra-Tread, Series 245.  The support we get from TNW-Tnemec and the quality of coatings provided is why we continue to install these products.  It's just an easy decision for our company".
