When Carlisle Associate was tasked with rehabbing an old building into a state of the art operation building for Lancaster County Natural Gas Authority, one of the major pieces of the puzzle was selecting the best high performance coating systems.  This element of the project was key due to the numerous aged and damaged parts of the existing old building.  For the new flooring across the facility, an concrete slab, tile and damaged concrete...all with moisture issues all had to be correctly prepared and a new resinous floor installed to provide a smooth and even elevation.  In addition difference aesthetic desire(flake and quartz) floors were desired. TSE's Nick Vause helped the project team in designing the high performance coating systems.  Tnemec's  222 Deco-Tread and 224 Deco-Flake system were selected to be installed over Tnemec's 208 Epoxoprime MVT primer and Tnemec's 206 Sub-Flex, a leveling membrane. 

On the exterior, the building needed refreshing, but with a quality premiere exterior grade product that would provide color stability, wind drive rain resistance, freeze thaw resistance and the longest possible lifecycle.  So  a three coat system using Tnemec's 151 ElastoGrip primer and two finish coats of 156 Enviro-Crete was chosen.   

The High Performance Coatings team and the selected Tnemec coatings helped product results that reflect "new" looking building that the owner and architect can be very happy with.
