Lexington County was in search of the appropriate high-performance coating system to protect its fire training academy from harsh environmental conditions. After careful consideration, the Tnemec Series 151 ElastoGrip primer and two coats of Tnemec Series 156 EnviroCrete system were chosen to ensure that the CMU exterior walls could withstand driving rain, alternate freezing-thawing and UV light. This system is also suitable for exterior concrete as it is a flexible, breathable coating that can fill and bridge minor hairline cracks. Additionally, it comes with a 10-year manufacturer's warranty. Upon completion, these buildings now look like new and will stay that way for a much longer lifecycle due to the quality work of Echerer Painting and the high-performance coatings from Tnemec.
